A 63-year-old man reported missing last month was found dead in Denver, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.

Kevin Bailey was reported missing on June 12 after leaving the Woodland Estates Senior Living Center, 2500 S. Roslyn St., sheriff’s officials said.
Bailey told a senior center employee that he wanted to ride the bus and visit friends, according to the sheriff’s office. The man also told his family that he was riding a bus and looking for work before he disappeared.
Deputies, the Arapahoe Rescue Patrol and two search-and-rescue dogs searched Denver’s Central Park area for two days in late June, sheriff’s officials said. On June 26, the search team found a man’s body in a creek.

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified the body as Bailey, Arapahoe County sheriff’s officials said.
