Boulder police first arrested the man about 9 a.m. Monday after a person reported the man had exposed his genitals to him near 20th and Pearl streets, police spokesperson Jenn Ciplet wrote in a news release. Police took the man to the Boulder County Jail, where he was booked on a charge of public indecency. He received a court date and was released. The Post is not naming the man because he hasn’t been charged with any felonies.
Later that afternoon, someone called police to report that a man was yelling and charging toward a woman, who was walking her dog near the Valmont Bike Park, with his fists raised. Other people called police and said the man ran into the road and was trying to kick oncoming cars. The Valmont Bike Park is just south of the Boulder County Jail.
The man then pulled down his pants and exposed himself to elementary school students getting off a Boulder Valley School District bus in the area, Ciplet wrote in the release.

Police arrested the man a second time and took him back to the jail, where he remains in custody on a $7,500 bail, jail records show. He faces charges of public indecency, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment in the second incident.
Police are working with the school district to contact families of students on the bus who may have witnessed the incident, Ciplet said. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective John Sailer at 303-441-1830.
