Nearly 200 swimmers, along with hundreds of spectators and volunteers, participated in the 9th annual Swim Across America – Denver Open Water Swim on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, at Chatfield Reservoir in Littleton, Colo. Funds from the event benefitted pediatric cancer research with the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital Colorado. As of Saturday morning, nearly $213,000 had been raised through the open water swim and pool swims throughout Colorado.
