Visitors to Big Soda Lake, which is part of Bear Creek Lake Park, have been improperly using the area off West Hampden Avenue to launch water vessels from a sandy area on the southern shore. The city of Lakewood announced the closure Friday afternoon. The official park entrance is on the north side of the park off of Morrison Road.
