The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a driver who was seen driving on a sidewalk along U.S. 36 near Boulder on Sunday.
A video posted by the Sheriff’s Office shows a black car driving on the bike path towards Boulder from the Davidson Mesa area. Officials estimate the car was traveling at speeds of up to 50 mph.
We’re asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a dangerous incident.

The Sheriff’s Office asked anyone who recognizes the vehicle, which is described as a black Infiniti coupe with fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview mirror, or knows who was driving it to call the non-emergency line at 303-441-4444 or email [email protected].
This is not the first time a driver has made their way onto the bike path. In 2018, the Sheriff’s Office ticketed a woman who drove on the path after she said she mistook it for a frontage road.
