A bicyclist injured in a crash with a vehicle in Denver on July 4 has died, police confirmed Monday.

Police initially reported that the crash near the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Virginia Avenue involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. They later determined the injured person was riding a bicycle.

The Denver District Attorney’s Office opted not to press charges against the driver, police said.
