One person was killed, and two people were wounded in a shooting near Coors Field early Saturday in Denver.
Police first said at 1:13 a.m. that they were investigating the shooting in the 1900 block of Market Street. Three men were taken to a hospital, where one of them died.
The two men who were wounded are in stable condition, police wrote in a 10:24 a.m. update.

Police believe the shooting happened after a fight between two groups escalated. Investigators are working to develop suspect information, and anyone with information, photos or videos of the shooting is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.
The shooting is the second in the downtown area in the past day. Two people were taken to a hospital after a shooting Friday morning near 22nd and Stout streets in the Five Points neighborhood. That’s about three-quarters of a mile east of Saturday’s shooting.
Investigators don’t believe the two shootings are connected, police said.
