A person with a confirmed case of the measles may have exposed others at two restaurants, a hotel and a hospital in north metro Denver last week, state officials said Tuesday.

The visitor spent time in Boulder, Westminster and Lafayette, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
People may have been exposed to the measles if they were at:
- Avanti Food and Beverage, first floor and rooftop, 1401 Pearl St. in Boulder, between 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 8;
- Gelato Boy West End, 1021 Pearl Street in Boulder, between 9:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Sept. 8;
- Pearl Street Mall, 1303 Pearl Street in Boulder, between 9:45 p.m. Sept. 8 and 12:30 a.m. Wednesday;
- The Denver Gem and Mineral Show at the Westin hotel, 10600 Westminster Blvd in Westminster, between noon and 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday; and
- Good Samaritan Hospital emergency department, 200 Exempla Circle in Lafayette, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday.
People who were exposed may develop measles symptoms through Oct. 2, including fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and a rash that usually starts several days later on the face and spreads. Anyone who develops symptoms should call their health care provider and report the symptoms to their local public health agency or the state public health department at 720-653-3369.
Colorado public health officials have confirmed 25 measles cases so far this year, which is down from this time last year, when the state had confirmed 31 cases.
Of the 25 confirmed cases this year, 22 were in people who had not been vaccinated and 19 cases were in children and teens younger than 18, CDPHE data shows.
