A hot new bombshell just entered the battle for the ultimate Denver stadium bite, and at 2 feet long, stuffed with cheese and enveloped in puff pastry, the new Empower Field at Mile High menu item may dethrone the Glizzilla hot dog at Coors Field for most over-the-top game day snack.

Hungry Denver Broncos fans (or small families) can now try the “Beast in a Blanket,” a 24-inch grilled hot dog that, along with barbecue brisket burnt ends, goat cheese and sharp cheddar, is wrapped in puff pastry and served covered in crispy onions, sliced jalapeños, avocado crema and a “Mile High secret sauce.”

The super-sized version of the popular pigs-in-a-blanket was created by Aramark Executive Sous Chef Sean Clark, the company announced Wednesday.

“We wanted to give fans our vision of the ultimate game day item this season. We also wanted it to be something sharable,” Clark said in a statement, adding that it takes the classic pigs-in-a-blanket “out of the Sunday living room watch party and steps it up to a level appropriate for Empower Field.”

Fans can find it for sale in Section 128, company officials said. The price was not immediately available.
