Cooler temperatures and rain chances will continue across the region, with Denver bracing for another round of wet weather Friday.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected across the area through the afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Storms could produce strong winds, hail and heavy rainfall, increasing the risk of flash flooding.
Officials remind drivers never to attempt to cross a flooded road.
A forecast for Friday said showers and thunderstorms are possible after 3 p.m., with increasing clouds and a high near 83 degrees. Winds will be light and variable becoming east-southeast at 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Gusts could reach 16 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%.
Rainy weather is expected to continue into the weekend, with showers possible Saturday and Sunday.
