An 18-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning after a shooting in Brighton left another man dead, police said.

Brighton officers responded to a shooting in the 3100 block of Eagle Boulevard at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the police department.
When they arrived, officers found a 33-year-old man who had been shot, police said in the release. Paramedics took the man to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
He will be identified by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
Police arrested Jeness Torres, 18, on suspicion of second-degree murder in the shooting, according to the release.
