Boulder as a city seemed to be a cool place to be, he said, and he likes to snowboard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt made the most sense for all the things I\u2019d look for in a school,\u201d Flynn said.<\/p>\n<p>Flynn is one of 9,000 new students moving into 24 residence halls at CU Boulder this week, including about 7,500 freshmen and about 1,400 transfer students. This year\u2019s incoming class represents all 50 states, 47 countries and more than 60 spoken languages.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman Dalila Wall, from Kansas, moved into her dorm on Monday morning. She\u2019s looking forward to meeting new people and being in the Boulder area, she said, where there\u2019s a lot to do and see.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was a military kid, so this isn\u2019t my first move, but it\u2019s my first move on my own,\u201d Wall said. \u201cSo it\u2019s new, but it\u2019s also kind of a familiar feeling.
