This month, the food-focused Tasting Table published a list of the top vino makers in each of the 50 U.S. states, seeking to celebrate companies that are \u201credefining American wine country,\u201d with an emphasis on those worth making a special trip to enjoy, the article says.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 1996, Bookcliff Winery grows grapes on 37 acres in Palisade, and it also operates a winery in Boulder, where 14 varietals get turned into bottles of red and white.
