Paramedics took his injured passenger, 23-year-old Andrew Bott, to the hospital, where he later died.<\/p>\n<p>Bott was hit when someone fired multiple times at the Ford, the driver told deputies. As of Monday, the driver had not yet been publicly identified.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators believe the fatal shooting is related to an earlier hit-and-run in Littleton, where a blue Ford F-150 reportedly struck several vehicles near South Santa Fe Drive and West Belleview Avenue and fled the scene, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>The hit-and-run happened just minutes before the shooting was reported, sheriff\u2019s officials said.<\/p>\n<p>One of the hit-and-run victims called police to report he was following the Ford, sheriff\u2019s officials said.
