Another day of record-breaking heat is forecast for Colorado\u2019s Front Range and Eastern Plains as temperatures climb above 100 degrees, including in Denver, according to the National Weather Service.<\/p>\n

Temperatures in the city are expected to peak near 103 degrees between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., according to hourly forecasts from the weather service. The heat will only drop back below 80 degrees after 2 a.m. Monday, with an overnight low of 72 degrees forecast for Denver, according to the weather service.<\/p>\n

\u201cHottest day of the year,\u201d weather service forecasters wrote on social media. \u201cTake it easy and stay well by seeking shade, avoiding strenuous activities, staying hydrated, and checking on those without AC, including pets and livestock. Seek immediate medical aid if you fall ill due to heat.\u201d<\/p>\n

A 103-degree high would break Denver\u2019s current July 26 heat record of 100 degrees, set in 1910, according to weather service records. Other highs expected Sunday include:<\/p>\n
