The Denver Post is investigating resident care at Colorado\u2019s three largest nursing home chains: the Ensign Group, Life Care Centers of America and PACS Group.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re particularly interested in hearing from residents and their families about whether they received prompt help with daily activities such as eating and bathing and whether facilities were able to prevent or treat wounds.<\/p>\n

The three chains have a significant share of the market, accounting for more than one-third of all nursing home beds in the state. Ensign Group owns 31 facilities in Colorado, Life Care Centers of America owns 22 and PACS Group has 19.<\/p>\n
