PT Organics\u2019 inspection of finished products made with the recalled packaging confirmed that a strand of soft, food-grade plastic was attached to the inside of a small number of pouches.<\/p>\n<p>The affected 4-ounce pouches were sold between March 6 and July 13, according to the company\u2019s announcement on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The recalled pouches can be identified by the following codes, which are stamped in black ink on the back of the pouch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Barcode: 8 15367 01078 0<\/li>\n<li>Lane number \u2013 identified by the number \u20184\u2019 printed on the rear right-hand side seam<\/li>\n<li>Best-Before-Date (BBD) of 01\/19\/2027, 01\/20\/2027, 03\/17\/2027, 03\/18\/2027, 05\/14\/2027, or 05\/15\/2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe are removing potentially affected pouches from the marketplace, working with retailers and our packaging supplier, and sharing information with consumers so they can identify the product and know exactly what to do,\u201d PT Organics Limited said in a statement on its website. <\/p>\n<p>The company encourages consumers or caregivers who have the recalled product in their possession to dispose of it or return the product to the place of purchase.
