Could it work now?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Loveland Police Department received a report of a domestic violence incident in the 3300 block of Banyan Avenue shortly before noon on Wednesday, according to a news release from the police department. The suspect threatened the victim with a gun, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Loveland officers arrived at the home later that day to arrest the suspect, who has not yet been publicly identified, on suspicion of domestic violence, felony menacing, criminal tampering and prohibited use of weapons, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived with search and arrest warrants, the suspect was barricaded in the home, police said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCrisis negotiators attempted to establish communication while the subject refused to exit,\u201d the release stated. \u201cThroughout the incident, SWAT personnel employed a variety of tactics to gain the subject\u2019s voluntary surrender.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/coloradospringsmoverss.com\/?p=2697\">12 Colorado hospitals considered \u2018financially vulnerable\u2019 to upcoming federal health care cuts<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The suspect ultimately exited the home with a gun and fired at officers, according to the police department. Officers first tried to use \u201cless-lethal tools in an effort to gain cooperation,\u201d but shot back at the suspect after they fired at officers, police stated in the release.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unknown how many officers shot at the suspect, who was struck and died at the scene.
