New polling shows why few victims report them<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ryder Holliday, 28, was found unresponsive at the U.S. Penitentiary in Florence, a high-security prison, at about 7:10 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice\u2019s Federal Bureau of Prisons.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics took Holliday to the hospital, where he was placed on life support, prison officials said. Holliday was pronounced dead on Wednesday, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation was notified, the release stated.<\/p>\n<p>Information about the cause of Holliday\u2019s death was not available, but federal officials said no other inmates or prison employees were injured.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/coloradospringsmoverss.com\/?p=1995\">U.S. 6 closed near Golden after heavy overnight rain triggers rockslides<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Holliday was serving a one-year sentence from the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas for conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, according to the release.
