Sunday afternoon storms are on track to bring up to 2-inch hail and 70 mph winds to Colorado\u2019s Eastern Plains, according to the National Weather Service.<\/p>\n

The main threat will be to northeastern Colorado between 2 and 9 p.m., according to a hazardous weather outlook from the weather service. Storms are also expected to bring large hail and strong winds to the Eastern Plains on Monday and Tuesday, according to the outlook.<\/p>\n

Two-inch hail sits between the size of a golf ball and a tennis ball, according to the National Severe Storm Laboratory.<\/p>\n

In southeastern Colorado, 1.5-inch hail \u2014 roughly the size of a ping-pong ball \u2014 and up to 75 mph winds will be possible amid Sunday\u2019s storms, according to the weather service.<\/p>\n

As of Sunday morning, no severe thunderstorm warnings or watches had been issued for Colorado.<\/p>\n
