{"id":1231,"date":"2026-06-04T19:03:30","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T19:03:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coloradospringsmoverss.com\/?p=1231"},"modified":"2026-06-04T19:03:30","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T19:03:30","slug":"driver-who-crashed-into-northglenn-home-killing-passenger-charged-with-vehicular-homicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coloradospringsmoverss.com\/?p=1231","title":{"rendered":"Driver who crashed into Northglenn home, killing passenger, charged with vehicular homicide"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><strong>Getting your Trinity Audio player ready&#8230;<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>An 18-year-old man who crashed into a Northglenn home last week, rupturing a gas line and killing his passenger, has been charged with vehicular homicide, prosecutors announced Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/coloradospringsmoverss.com\/?p=1229\">Embattled head of Colorado\u2019s Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel placed on leave<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Angelo Arias faces two vehicular homicide charges in the May 28 crash \u2014 one for DUI and one for reckless driving, according to the 17th Judicial District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>A Northglenn police officer attempted to stop Arias near Washington Street and East 112th Avenue at about 11:50 p.m. on May 28, \u201cafter observing erratic driving behavior,\u201d according to a June 2 news release from the police department.<\/p>\n<p>Arias initially stopped, but then fled, police said. Moments later, he crashed into a home in the 10400 block of Clarkson Street.
