Boxes of nails and screws spilled across U.S. 285 in Jefferson County Tuesday, damaging tires on more than 50 vehicles, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Southbound E-470 was closed at 38th Avenue on Thursday, according to the Aurora Police Department.

Adam Bauserman was arrested on suspicion of seven felony charges in the Highlands Ranch hit-and-run that killed one pedestrian and injured two others.

Douglas County deputies responded to the hit-and-run crash near Willowbridge Way and East Wildcat Reserve Parkway in Highlands Ranch shortly after 10:30 a.m. Monday.

As of 12:37 p.m., eastbound lanes between Horizon Drive near Clifton and Cameo were closed, CDOT said. 

A late-night crash in Aurora near East Iliff Avenue and South Idalia Street involving a stolen motorcycle killed a man and sent a woman to the hospital, police said.

As of 6:30 a.m., westbound I-70 was closed between Exit 259 for Morrison Road near Lakewood and Exit 256 for Lookout Mountain near Golden.

Aurora officers responded to the crash near North Laredo Street and East Sixth Avenue just after 8 p.m. Monday, police said.

A fatal two-truck crash shut down East 120th Avenue in Adams County for hours at 2:49 p.m. Sunday after a 40-year-old Denver man who died drifted his Chevrolet Silverado into oncoming lanes of traffic.

As of Sunday evening, East 120th Avenue was closed at Powhaton Road for the crash cleanup and investigation, state patrol officials said.
