Aurora police are investigating a “suspicious death” after a man’s body was found face down in a field on Tuesday night, according to the police department.

Officers responded to reports of a body in the 1400 block of North Idalia Court at about 10:49 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the police department. The block sits south of East Colfax Avenue, in northern Aurora’s Laredo Highline neighborhood.
When they arrived, officers found a 36-year-old man lying face down in a field, dead with no apparent injuries, police said.

“There is no suspect information at this time, and an investigation into the suspicious death is ongoing,” police said.
The man will be identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
