A pedestrian was injured Tuesday night after being hit by a bus in Denver, temporarily shutting down part of East Colfax Avenue, police said.

The Denver Police Department first posted about the crash near East Colfax Avenue and Verbena Street at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday. That intersection is in eastern Denver’s East Colfax neighborhood.
Colfax was closed in both directions between Verbena and Valentina streets for the crash cleanup and investigation, police said.
