Ionic, a Denver-based real estate firm, has filed plans with the city to redevelop a West Highland property with six detached single-family homes and updated parking facilities for a nearby church.
The project at 3268 W. 32nd Ave. proposes to demolish several existing structures at the Renewal Church campus, including a one-story brick building, a two-story classroom building, a playground and an existing parking lot. The main church building will remain.
The homes will be divided across six lots, each measuring 25 feet wide and totaling 3,944.57 square feet, according to concept plans filed on Monday. Five of the homes would be two-story houses, while the home closest to West 32nd Avenue would include an attached or detached accessory dwelling unit.
Plans also call for a new parking lot with over 30 spaces to serve the church.
The property is owned by 3120 Irving Street LLC, which appears to be affiliated with St. John’s Church at 700 S Franklin St. in Denver. Renewal Church is a multi-site church that shares a ministry with St. John’s Church, which serves as its Washington Park campus.
Founded in 2010, Ionic has been involved in several projects across the state, including Denver, Thornton and Crested Butte.
Representatives with Renewal and Ionic did not respond to requests for comment when The Post reached out on Tuesday morning.
The project is currently under review by the city.
