South Metro crews responded to the fire at Primrose School of Lone Tree, 9200 Teddy Lane, shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday, according to the agency. The flames were under control by 9:25 a.m., according to an update from South Metro.
South Metro spokesperson Matthew Assell confirmed the car that crashed into the building was a Cybertruck. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Lone Tree Police Department, Assell said.

All 78 students and 22 staff inside the preschool were safely evacuated, and paramedics took one person to the hospital for “further evaluation,” agency officials said. It’s not clear whether the hospitalized person was the driver, but it was not someone inside the school, Assell said.
Information about the extent of damage to the preschool was not immediately available.
