Denver Police arrested the driver in a fatal crash Friday after his passenger died.
Andres Martinez, 32, is being held for investigation of vehicular homicide, police announced on social media. He was driving when his car crashed early Friday near East Alameda Avenue and East Fairmount Drive near Fairmount Cemetery. His vehicle was the only one involved in the crash.

The Denver District Attorney’s Office will decide any charges. Police have not provided any details about the passenger, who will be identified by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
