One person was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a nasty shock at a Lakewood strip mall left them with serious injuries, according to first responders.

West Metro firefighters responded to a “reported electrocution” at the Jewell Square Shopping Center at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, according to the agency.
When crews arrived at the mall, near the intersection of West Jewell Avenue and South Wadsworth Boulevard, they found one person who had been injured, West Metro Fire Rescue officials said.
