Woman killed in Monday morning crash, 2 others injured in west Greeley

A woman died and two people were injured in a crash in west Greeley on Monday morning.

Greeley police responded at about 5:20 a.m. Monday to a crash involving a Honda CR-V and a Chrysler sedan at the southeast corner of the 10th Street and 59th Avenue intersection, according to a Greeley Police Department news release.

The Honda, driven by a 33-year-old woman, was going eastbound on 10th Street when it collided with the westbound Chrysler, driven by a 45-year-old woman, according to the affidavit.

The Honda driver died at the scene. The name of the woman will be released by the Weld County Coroner’s Office following notification of next of kin.

The Chrysler driver is recovering at her home. A 38-year-old male passenger in the Honda is in stable condition at the hospital.
