For the first time in franchise history, the popular reality dating series will show an episode on the big screen at select theaters across the country, including two near Denver. And this isn’t just any episode — the theater debut of “Love Island USA” coincides with Casa Amor, making it a bigger plot twist than ever before.
For those unfamiliar, the show sends sexy singles to a luxurious villa in Fiji for an epic summer of sun-tanning and serial dating, with plenty of lip-locking along the way. The cast is paired up into couples to see if they can cultivate sparks. But during Casa Amor — which refers to both a place and an event — the men and women are split up between two villas and a fresh batch of singles join in the fun to see if they can break the already formed bonds.
Front Range residents can catch the action on June 22 at 7 p.m. at the Cinemark theater at Bel Mar shopping Center and Regal UA theater at Colorado Mills mall, both in Lakewood. Tickets cost $22.69 at Fandango.com, and that price includes a concession voucher.
