Two girls, including one who is developmentally disabled, were reported missing Tuesday in Arapahoe County after they were last seen in the early morning hours, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

Emmeliea Whitelance, 13, and Auraelia Garcia, 10, were last spotted on foot near South Telluride Street and East Smoky Hill Road in Centennial at about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to a missing person alert from state investigators.
Emmeliea is described as a 5-foot-1-inch, 130-pound girl with black hair and brown eyes and was last wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and glasses, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. Auraelia is described as a 5-foot, 100-pound girl with brown hair and brown eyes, and was last wearing a white hoodie with white pants.

The 10-year-old is developmentally disabled, investigators said.
Anyone with information about the two girls or their whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the sheriff’s office at 303-795-4711.
